Brian obtained his Degree in Building Surveying at North London Polytechnic in 1972. He was then awarded the Chartered Member status of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1974. He pursued a Civil Service career until 1986 when he resigned as Director of Crown Lands to set up his own private practice. He then founded Brian Francis and Associates Limited and Land Property Management Limited and as a result was awarded the status of Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors FRICS.
Mark Francis
Director & Head of the Valuation Department
Mark obtained a 1st class Honours Degree in Urban Estate Management in 1995, when he was awarded the RICS Central London Prize. He worked with a development company in London where he gained experience in development and general valuation work until 2001 when he returned to Gibraltar to join his father's firm. He obtained his Chartered status in 2003 and has more than 15 years experience in valuation and other property consultancy services.
Colin Francis
Director
Colin studied Building Surveying and Construction and has over 20 years of experience in Estate and Property Management. He has a vast variety of key roles and responsibilities, including the overseeing and running of the main management office situated at Hadfield House with his fellow Senior Managers. He also provides advice, training and support to the staff employed under this ever growing section. Colin will continue to set new trends and standards with the view of always improving the services being provided, whilst at the same time continue to meet the increasing modern day requirements and demands.

Heather began her career with the company in Human Resources, where she developed a strong reputation for her commitment to staff and people-first approach.
She has since become a trusted advisor to the board, contributing to wider company matters and strategic decision-making. Heather plays a key role in high-level problem solving and is actively involved in shaping the company’s direction, ensuring a balance between business objectives and its people.
Stephen Bergdahl

Stephen started off many years ago as IT Manager and in-house software developer, but quickly became involved in many aspects of the wider business. In his current role as Senior Manager, he still oversees the technology and systems used by BFA whilst dealing with an array of staff and client matters. He also acts as an advisor to the Board of Directors, helping to shape key decisions and long-term plans.

Paul Stagnetto graduated from Kingston University London in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in “Real Estate Management” and joined the firm shortly after his graduation. Paul completed a 2-year Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) in “Commercial Property Practice” via the RICS graduate training scheme, under his Supervisor (Mark Francis MRICS) and Counsellor (Brian Francis FRICS). Having successfully completed the APC, Paul was awarded the status of Professional Member of the RICS (MRICS) by the Chairman of Europe back in 2012. Paul is also the Department Head of BFA Property Portfolio Management.
